Straight forward ascent on path then a short ridge walk

 Travel Information

Head to: Tomnavoulin

From Tomnavoulin on B9008 travel S to Knockandhu, then ESE on minor road to Chapeltown in the Braes of Glenlivet, and don't stop at every distillery for a sample.

Where the access routes are few or the ridge is narrow, paths are generally obvious. On open ground, following paths without using your compass may get you lost in poor visibility.

4 hours walking without seeing another person....great! Nice walk in alongside the river and snow on the ridge. Interesting peat (?) features on the ridge between Dun Muir and Carn Mor as well.
