A straight forward ascent from the S. A short walk through a forest then one stream to be crossed followed by a fairly steep ascent. Return through Lairig Gartain is muddy most times of the year

Head W on A82 then S on minor road through upper Glen Etive to Loch Etive.

Making our way along the ridge to the final ascent of Stob Dubh on 08/12/07 this was taken during a brief window in the almost constant blizzard we were walking in. Gusts of between 60 & 70 mph with driving snow made this challenging to say the least
