Sgorr Iutharn seen fom the ascent of the Long Lethchois ( = North ridge of Coire Lethchois, Ben Alder). It was the day before the longest day and it was raining with gusting winds, hence the rain drops on the lens.

Ascending to a broader section of the Sgorr Iutharn ridge. This is a short ridge, but the narrowist sections are less than one meterwide and you have to walk along the side of the angled rocks. Quite easy, but you need a head for exposure.

Sgorr Iutharn looms above the path from Culra Bothy through the Bealach Dubh. If you want to add some excitment to an otherwise dull mountain then this is the only ascent route for Geal Charn.
