Fuar Bheinn and its larger neighbour Creach Bheinn (Corbett) are the two highest tops on a horse-shoe ridge around Glen Galmadale. Whilst it is possible to descend from the ridge from Maol Odhar at the head of the Glen, you will miss the views over Loch Linnhe and this should be seen as an emergency descent only. Whilst there are many granite outcrops, particularly on the E slopes, no scrambling should be required in a traverse of the ridge
