Mountain Description
Meall an t-Seallaidh forms a high ridge from Creag Ghlas (593m) in the NW to Meall an t-Seallaidh in the SE. between Kirkton Glen and Glen Kendrum. There are six tops on this ridge, only two more of which are named, Meall an Fhiodhain (817m) and Cam Chreag (812m). Meall an t-Seallaidh can be accessed from either glen, but the E slopes are craggy and the paths through Kirkton Glen take you closer to the ridge, making for a more pleasant approach.

1st August 2007. We followed Alex Bryce’s helpful advice from the Creag Mac Ranaich bealach. We continued south-east along the grassy ridge then east along the forest fence. We followed the fence through the neck of forest at 573 224 before joining the old railway for our return to the car at Lochearnhead.

Climbed from Balquiddher. Up Leum an Eireanniach first (well worth a visit to try the scramble up giant boulder 'Rob Roy's Putting Stone'), then traversed across to Creag Mac Rainaich, then to Meall an t-Seallaidh. The link between the two to straightforward and interesting, though in mist could be more difficult as their are many scattered crags.
