Beinn Resipol is an isolated mountain virtually on its own peninsula, with Loch Sunart to the S and a chain of fresh water lochs connecting to the sea to the N. Beinn Resipol is a very craggy mountain, particularly on its N slopes, and its slopes are fairly steep in places. An old path originally used by lead miners gives access to the E ridge which offers an easy route to the top.
