Cam Chreag is an elongated hill with three long ridges running N towards Cross Craigs (747m), S to Creagan nan Gobhar (629m) and SE turning E to Ben Meggernie (662m). Cam Chreag is generally a hill of gentle slopes, although the eastern slopes are steeper and quite craggy. All three ridges are decorated with rocky outcrops, but offer possible ascent routes, however, the presence of a vehicle track into Coire Odhar makes the SE ridge the preferred route.
