Mountain Description

|
Buidhe Bheinn lies to the S of Sgurr a' Bhac Chaolais which lies on the S Glen Shiel Ridge to which it is connected by a long curved ridge allowing both peaks to be taken in a single expedition. Buidhe Bheinn is an otherwise remote mountain which can be climbed from Kinloch Hourn which lies at the end of a long narrow road. Buidhe Bheinn has three ridges, W turning WSW, SE turning S and NE turning N (this is the ridge that connects to Sgurr a' Bhac Chaolais which is of identical height and therefore a contender for the Corbett title, as it is not clear which is the Corbett, climb both to be sure). Buidhe Bheinn is a rough craggy hill, but is not a difficult ascent particularly as stalkers paths come high on its SW slopes
