Beinn a' Chaisteil and Beinn nam Fuaran (Corbett) are sister peaks, on the E side of Gleann Ach'-innis Chailein, connected by a col (545m), and are climbed as a pair. Beinn a' Chaisteil, the more sS of the pair, is composed of two ridges in an "L" shape. The S and W upper slopes are very rocky, but the hill can be climbed via the SE or NE ridges with ease on moderate slopes.
