Meall a'Ghiubhais is a compact conical peak located N of Beinn Eighe and its outlying peak Ruadh-stac Beag. Meall a'Ghiubhais and Ruadh-stac Beag are separated by a broad bealach (470m) which is served by a path, therefore they tend to be climbed together. Meall a'Ghiubhais has steep, craggy and rock strewn slopes, but to the NW and SE there are moderate slopes without obstacles therefore it is not a difficult hill to climb
