Mountain Description
|
|
|
Sgurr na Sgine is located on the S side of Glen Sheil, W of the famous South Glen Shiel Ridge, and adjacent to The Saddle with which it is normally climbed. Sgurr na Sgine is elongated SW to NE with two peaks, the summit (946m) and Faochag (909m) between which the narrow rocky summit ridge curves N then ENE to Faochag around CoireToiteil. This ridge then continues NE down to the road offering an interesting ascent route. Sgurr na Sgine can also be approached from Sgurr na Forcan via Beallach Coire Mhalagain.
