Invergarry Lodge is a quiet, independent
self-catering hostel providing accommodation in the Great Glen, in the
heart of the Scottish Highlands.
The accommodation is in 4, 5 and 6 bedded rooms. Some rooms are
en-suite and all have washbasins There are two family rooms with a
double and three single bunks. For a small surcharge, it is usually
possible for couples to have private use of a family room. The hostel
is centrally heated and has a lounge with TV and piano, a large,
well-equipped kitchen and a separate dining room. There is also a
drying room and secure cycle shed. Free wireless broadband internet access is
available. Breakfast packs are also available.
A pub, which serves evening meals, and the village shop and post office are a 10 minute walk from the hostel.
Several mountain areas can be easily reached from Invergarry. Glen
Shiel and the Grey Corries are less than half an hour away and Ben
Nevis, Creag Meagaidh, Loch Quoich and Kinloch Hourn, the gateway to
Knoydart, are all within 30 miles.
