Culdees
Bunkhouse, in the
midst of
the beautiful Perthshire Highlands of Scotland with stunning views over Loch Tay,
is in close proximity of 18 Monroes,8 Corberts and 8 Grahams. It offers a wide
range of self-catering accommodation, from a bunkhouse
hostel, to family
rooms -offering an alternative to B&B. A self-catering holiday
cottage -sleeping 8- can be rented by the week.
The Bunkhouse and Family Rooms are the only
income-generating activities
which support a charitable educational project, the non-profit
Universal Health and
Educational Trust, known as 'Culdees'. It is carried by a small
intentional
community at Boreland Farm. It is located in the village of
Fearnan, near Kenmore, Fortingall, Glen Lyon and Aberfeldy.
Culdees is dedicated to ensuring its guests enjoy a pleasant
stay helped by a friendly team of volunteers. You will find
fully equipped
kitchens as well as areas to relax, such as the music room with two pianos, guitars and other
instruments, another lounge
with computer and wireless internet access, a couple of hundred DVD's and a library with a large, eclectic collection of
books.
