Taychreggan is a wildly romantic former drovers inn, steeped in over 300 years of history and situated in a quiet bay on the shores of Loch Awe. Set in one of the most spectacular parts of the West Highlands, Taychreggan is one of Scotland’s top country house hotels receiving 4 stars for quality and service from both VisitScotland and the AA. Our restaurant has consistently been awarded 2 rosettes by the AA for its fine dining cuisine, encompassing locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. A variety of accommodation is available from Standard twin/double rooms, Superior double/twin rooms and Junior double/twin Suites to our deluxe Master Suite with it’s own sitting room and bathroom with double Jacuzzi bath. All eighteen rooms are individually furnished and are in keeping with the stylish and tasteful approach, which is uniquely Taychreggan. Some of our bedrooms have four poster beds, roll top baths and many rooms have loch views.
