Àite Cruinnichidh is 15 miles North East of Fort William and occupies a unique sheltered spot adjacent to the Monessie Gorge: explore remote glens, mountain passes and lochs. Numerous easy walks within minutes of the hostel and seven magnificent canoeing rivers within 20 miles. The location is ideal for climbing (rock and ice), mountain biking, skiing or just relaxing.
A warm, peaceful, friendly, country hostel. We sleep 32 in 5 rooms of four, one six, a twin and an en-suite double / family room. We supply all bedding and have an excellent self catering kitchen. The hostel is centrally heated and has an additional living room with books and games.
Additional facilities include a sauna, drying room and large garden. Ample parking. As we also live on site, this is a very safe hostel.
There are trains and buses to Roy Bridge and we offer a pick up service, when we can, for small groups from Roy Bridge. Please let us know in advance if you are arriving in Roy Bridge by bus or train.
Please remember to bring food as there is not a shop on site.
